SHS students celebrate weekly Mass.
To Teach as Jesus Did
"Christian education is intended to make men's faith become living, conscious and active, through the light of instruction. The Catholic school is the unique setting within which this ideal can be realized in the lives of Catholic children and young people. Only in this setting can they experience learning and living fully integrated in the light of faith. The Catholic school strives to relate all human culture eventually to the news of salvation, so that the light of faith will illumine the knowledge which students gain on the world of life and of mankind."
Sacred Heart Curriculum
The Sisters of St. Joseph, devoted lay teachers and dedicated staff work daily to make Sacred Heart School a vibrant faith community and an outstanding academic institution.

The curriculum followed at SHS is challenging. The foundation for success in this curriculum is laid in the early grades under the guidance of a caring and well-trained faculty and auxiliary staff. Pre-kindergarten through first grade classrooms are each staffed with a teacher and a full-time assistant. A part-time assistant serves second through third grade classes and another part-time assistant serves third through fifth grade classes.
