Flag Corps This fifth grade service club is responsible for taking care of the school’s flags. Each day, members of the SHS Color Guard, working in teams of two, raise the American flag, the Louisiana flag and the Baton Rouge flag in the morning and take the flags down in each afternoon. The color guard participated in a Flag Retirement ceremony when the school’s American flag was retired. The Colorguard is open to any 5th grader who is interested in working with the flags.
