Volunteer Requirements
The Diocese of Baton Rouge is committed to certifying our employees and volunteers for ministry among minors and vulnerable adults. Any adult (18 years and older) wanting to volunteer with children of Sacred Heart of Jesus School must complete the following requirements mandated by the Diocese of Baton Rouge. ALL requirements must be met in order to volunteer. The certification requirements can be accessed below or at the
Office of Child and Youth Protection
website.

Please email your request to receive the volunteer requirements to Suzanne Payne. - Read and sign the
Code of Ethics Acknowledgement Form
and email Suzanne Payne at
spayne@sacredheartbr.com.
The Code of Ethics must be renewed annually. - Read the Safe Environment Decree from Bishop M. Duca.
Parent Involvement Program (PIP)
The Parent Involvement Program (PIP) was established by the Sacred Heart School Advisory Board. All families are required to volunteer a total of twenty (20) hours during the school year. Those families not completing the required 20 hours will be billed a PIP fee according to the hours not worked. The PIP payment fee is based on $20 for each hour of work not performed or reported.
